The Department of Russian Philology

The Department of Russian Philology

The Department of Russian Philology of the University of Latvia founded in 1940. The first graduation took place in 1946. Among the first graduates were: Boris Infantyev, Maria Semyonova, Nadezhda Libtal, Yury Abyzov, Vladimir Mirsky.
