The Chapel of Alexander Nevsky

In 1864 the Cathedral of Alexander Nevsky was built in the centre of Dinaburg (Daugavpils). The cathedral was demolished during Soviet times (in 1969). In its place a chapel was erected at the end of the 1990’s, essentially a smaller copy of the cathedral. >>
