Roald Dobrovensky (1936, Yelets, Lipetsk Oblast, Russian SFSR) – a writer, poet and translator. R. Dobrovensky became well-known thank to his book «Rainis and his brothers. Seven lives of one poet». Commander of the Latvian Order of Three Stars (2013).
