Nikolay Lossky

Nikolay Lossky (1870, Kraslava, Vitebsk Governorate, Russian Empire – 1965, Paris, France) – outstanding representative of Russian religious philosophy. 

Professor at the University of Petrograd from 1916. Was expelled from Soviet Russia with a group of scientists in 1922. From 1922 to 1945 lived and worked in Czechoslovakia. Taught at the St. Vladimir Spiritual Academy in New York from 1947.
