Antonina Zavarina

Antonina Zavarina (1928, Yaroslavl Governorate, Russian SFSR  – 2015, Riga, Republic of Latvia) – ethnographer, Doctor of History, the author of the manuscript «The Russian population of eastern Latvia in the second half of the 19th – early 20th centuries».

Her monograph «Historical and Ethnographical Study of the Russian Population in Eastern Latvia During the Second Half of the XIX to the Beginning of the XX Centuries» published in 1986tudy of the proces laid the foundation for the profound study  of the process of the formation of the Russian population in Latvia.
