The Lunsky and Shetokhin families belong to the circle of hereditary residents of Riga. In 1916, one of Lunsky’s daughters, Tamara, was married to Vladimir Shetokhin. The latter was distinguished by a fine voice and ran an opera studio in Riga during the 1920s–1930s. Two children were born in this marriage: Zoya and Pyotr (see his photo album). |

The girl was brought to Latvia in 1956 by her parents. She was 15. Herfather was amilitary service man. At the previous living place they had nomusical school, and the girl took lessons in playing the accordion with private teacher. |

Galina and Alexander Tikhomirov started their familyat the beginning of 1950s. Galina Tikhomirova was teaching history in Riga schools for more than 30 years. Alexander Tikhomirov comes from Latgalia, from the family of old believers. During the Second World War he participated in the partisan movement. Many years he worked at Riga base of refrigerator fleet, worked in the sea. |
