Olga Beater
Olga Beater (24th of November 1862, Moscow, Russian Empire – 14th of November 1948, West Berlin) – a teacher, the proprietress of a private gymnasium in Riga.
Olga Beater received fundamental and prestigious education specializing in history and philology.
Since 1887 she had begun working in Riga as a teacher of history, geography and Russian language in a private school.
In 1907 O. Beater became a principal of a Russian private gymnasium, though at first there studied Jewish children, but later it incorporated pupils of different nationalities and noted families.
Due to economic crisis and the changes in the law of education, the school was closed in 1934.
Olga Beater moved to Germany in 1939.
