Natalia Agronomova
Natalia Agronomova (maiden name Vitola; 1st of September 1869, Governorate of Livonia, Russian Empire – 20th of May 1969, Riga, Latvian SSR) – from 1888 worked as a teacher. From 1929 to 1935 had been the principal of Riga 3rd Russian Primary school.
N. Agronomova graduated in 1887 from the Riga Lomonosov Girls’ Gymnasium with qualifications to work as a private teacher of history and mathematics. Starting in 1888, she taught younger students at various schools in Riga. Her first job was at the private gymnasium of D. Shtegman (1888–1889). From 1889 to 1892, she had been teaching at the private school of P. Hartz; from 1892 to 1900, she had been working at the Petro-Pavlovsk Higher Elementary School for Girls; in 1902–1903 - at the gymnasium of Paulīna Stabušs; and from 1904 to 1917, at the Riga Free Primary School.
Beginning January 1, 1919, N.P. Agronomova had been working at Riga 3rd Russian Primary School (13 Ludzas Street), and from 1929 to 1935 she had been serving as its principal.
In 1929, she was awarded the Order of the Three Stars.
