Valentina Markitanova (1933, Tambov Oblast, Russian SFSR – 2009, Riga, Republic of Latvia) – Doctor of Engineering, docent of the Chair of instrument production of the Riga Polytechnic Institute (from 1990 – Riga Technical University).
