The Church of the Annunciation of Our Lady at the end of 18th century

 

During the war of 1812 the church burnt down. In 1814 construction began anew and the church was consecrated on 14 May 1818.he church with a side-altar dedicated to St. Nicholas the Miracle Worker was consecrated in 1715 and stood for about 60 years in its original form. In 1778 a new church was erected in its place in the Moscow suburb of Riga, mainly for the needs of the Russian merchants.
