The ‘Slava’ (‘Glory’) battleship of the Baltic Fleet. On 4 October 1917, in battle with the superior forces of the German Fleet, received 7 direct hits and sank along with its crew in the southern entrance to the Strait of Moonsund, while attempting to block the way for German ships.
