 The cross on the grave of Fr. Alexei Toropogritsky near the Church of All Saints. Fr. Alexei took part in the burial of Soviet soldiers at the Ivan`s cemetery in the early days of the German occupation. In December 1941, he, as well as Fr. Nikolay Shalfeev, were summoned in this connection for questioning by the Gestapo. After returning from interrogation, both priests, almost simultaneously and under strange circumstances, died.
