Melety Kallistratov's indictment

Melety Kallistratov, the most popular Russian minority MP in Latvia. Was arrested on 9 October 1940, accused of serving in the White Army and, being a member of parliament of having ‘deceived the hard-working people of Latvia’. Was executed in the first days of the war in Daugavpils prison yard without being sentenced by the court.
