L.Ginko was saved by the Tsitovich family

At the age of three Leonid Ginko was placed in Salaspils, where his blood was taken for the needs of the German army. In March 1943, in a critical condition, he was transferred to the Holy Trinity and St. Sergius Monastery in Riga, from where he was taken and placed in the care of the Tsitovich family.
