Ivan Nikolich (1820, Riga, Russian Empire –1879, Kazan, Russian Empire) – a teacher of the Russian language, director of public schools, reviser of the dictionary of Ivan Pavlovsky, compiler of educational books, Assistant Trustee of Kazan (1865–1868 and 1873–1879) and Dorpat (1868–1873) Educational districts, publicist and public figure.
