Afanasy Kuzmin
Afanasy Kuzmin (1947, Daugavpils District, Latvian SSR) – Latvian shooter, participant of 9 Olympic Games. At the Olympic Games (1988, Seul) won the gold medal, at the next Games (Barselona, 1992) was the second one.
In 2007 the Latvian Shooting Federation proclaimed Afanasy Kuzmin the most titled sportsman in Latvia. Kuzmin is 11 times world champion.
