St. Alexey the Man of God Church

St. Alexey the Man of God Church

The church was built in 1751 on the boundaries of the city fortifications on the site of the Lutheran Church, which had been destroyed during the Northern War. In 1896 the church was transformed into the St.Alexey Monastery. In the early 1920’s the building was given over to the authority of the Catholic Church.
