Church of St. Alexy the Man of God

Church of St. Alexy the Man of God

The church was built in the mid–18th century within the Riga fortifications, on the site of a Lutheran church destroyed during the Northern War. In 1896 the church was transferred to the needs of then nearby opened St. Alexy Monastery.   In the early 1920s the building of church  was transferred to the Catholic.
