Church of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary before the fire of 1812

The Annunciation Church with a chapel of St Nicholas the Wonderworker was consecrated in 1715 and stood in its original form for about 60 years. In 1778, a new temple was built in its place. However, during the War of 1812, the temple burned down. Drawing by J.Ch. Brotze.
