Valeria Seile Street
The street was laid in 1890 and until 1923 it was called Saratovskaya, from 1923 to 1950 - Yuri Samarin Street, from 1950 to 2024 - st. Lomonosov. From 2024 – Valerija Seile Street – in honor of the famous Latvian teacher and publicist.
In tsarist times, the Vyazmas 150th Infantry Regiment was quartered on the territory adjacent to the street. During the interwar years, the Riga 2nd City Russian Basic School operated in house No. 2. During Soviet times, the Institute of Civil Aviation Engineers was located here. And today a number of private higher educational institutions operate here. >>
