Viktor Tikhonov

 

Viktor Tikhonov (1930) -  from 1968 to 1977 chief coach of the hockey team «Dinamo» Riga.

Viktor Tikhonov was three times USSR champion in hockey.  Under his leadership the team became one of the best hockey clubs in Europe, and later Tikhonov was appointed coach of the best club teams in Europe – the CSKA and the USSR national team. Under the management of Mr. Tikhonov the national team became triple Olympic champion and multiple world champion.
