Lomonosov Street

Lomonosov Street (built in 1890, called Saratov street until 1923, from 1923 to 1950 was called Samarin St., and from 1950 Lomonosov St.)

During the years of Soviet rule, this was the site of the Institute of Civil Aviation Engineers. It was one of the finest aviation universities in the USSR. Nowadays it is used by a private University Transport and Telecommunication Institute that provides high education in Latvian, Russian and English languages.
